Rooms

There are four large rooms downstairs with high ceilings; a family living room, formal parlor, dining room, and kitchen. A stairway leads upward to a large hall and three bedrooms on the second floor. The house has four chimneys for the fireplace, and wood burning stoves that heat the rooms and cook the food in the kitchen. All of the rooms have beaded ceilings, and the door and window facings have sculptured corner moldings Original wallpapers have been reproduced.

"Doll Houses & Doll House Furnishings" View fabulous doll houses and furnishings on loan from local collectors.

June 20 - August 4
"Western Art & Artifacts" Jackie Zweiger's wonderful paintings and children's books depicting the wonders of West Texas displayed with Native American artifacts.

August 22 - October 27
"Period Costumes" Beautiful vintage fashions from late 1800 to early 1900 will be showcased throughout the house.

November 21 - December 22
"Antique Toys & Holiday Decorations" Step back in time for the holidays by touring the house decorated with period decorations and antique toys.
