Donations:
The White-Pool House is a non-profit organization and is run through the continuing support of the community. We do not charge for admission because we believe that our history should be available to every member of the community. Donations are always accepted and greatly appreciated. All funds go towards the continuing restoration and maintenance of the museum complex. To make a donation, please click on the Paypal link below to be directed to our donation page, or contact the museum staff. Thank you!
Volunteering:
We always have volunteer opportunities in a wide variety of areas. From gardening, carpentry, handyman, cleaning, painting or museum docent volunteers, there is a place for everyone. Please be in touch if you are interested in volunteering.
We are a designated volunteer site for the Texas Scholars Program as well as many community service programs. If you are in need of volunteer hours, please contact the museum manager.
Help us protect this historic gem!

Revitalization Project:
The White-Pool House Friends are embarking on a monumental, twelve-phase Revitalization Project. Ultimately, our goal is to become a self-sustaining non-profit organization. In order to achieve our vision of financial stability, we offer the historical landmark for events. All proceeds benefit the operation and restoration of this cornerstone of Odessa History.
Some of our current projects are barn venue restorations, wrought iron fencing, restoration of our Eclipse windmill, and restoration of the original staircase in the front parlor. The centerpiece of our revitalization project is building a very large, historically appropriate, Victorian gazebo and an outdoor kitchen/service area. Since the Gazebo was completed in 2016, we continue to work on completion of other areas that need restoration, and seek to make the museum accessible to all.
We are a small, dedicated, all-volunteer board that has
a passion to see this historic gem remain a part of
Odessa landscape for years to come. We deeply
appreciate your help. Without your assistance, it would
take us significantly longer to reach our goals to
preserve, protect, and promote The Historic
White-Pool House Museum. We are hopeful to see the
entire revitalization project finished in a timelier
manner thanks to your continued generosity and
passion towards this project.
